Manager of Applications – Independence

Our client in Richfield is hiring a regular employee to join their team as a Manager of Application Engineering. This individual will be responsible for directing the efforts of a discipline-specific team in the practice of software design, development, and deployment. The specific development discipline covered by this role entails work relating to: application logic and business rules implementation; application integration and installation; application workflow; components needed to make these deliverables consistent.
Responsibilities
. Lead the design and development efforts and work with the multi-national team to further the creation of our global, industry-leading application.
. Develop and maintain the technical competence of the development staff in key areas of strategic importance.
. Identify solution capability requirements; develop solutions and capabilities that conform fully to these requirements.
. Coordinate resource assignments across multiple projects.
. Create, implement and ensure compliance of development standards.
. Create metrics to be used to measure performance of personnel and the quality of the application.
. Responsible for managerial functions, to include hiring, performance reviews, training, etc.
